Mahalo Surf Club brings high-energy surf lessons to the warm waves of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, with a strong emphasis on ocean theory and surf etiquette before students ever hit the water. Coaches are praised for their attentiveness and ability to help nervous beginners overcome fear in a safe, supportive environment. The school also incorporates surf skate training as a land-based complement to time in the ocean, making it a solid choice for beginners and intermediates alike. Lessons are available in both English and Spanish.
